RTX and Galileo

Base points everywhere. For several years all manufacturers have been talking about L-band technology. With its rapid development it is becoming increasingly popular on the surveying market. In early 2018 SOUTH released its new GPS receiver G1 PLUS equipped with this new technology. SOUTH has already been testing RTX technology in its G6 receiver worldwide. RTX is a world-leading satellite correction and cellular data technology that provides accuracy below 4 cm in less than 20 minutes. Receivers with this technology can work as rovers, and SOUTH goes even further by using the technology to establish base points.
